We pull full MicroLink / µP-T / MD-i logs for the voyage — temperature graphs, alarm events, door openings. Needed for spoiled-cargo investigations, insurance claims and reefer freight claims.

Diesel gensets

Clip-on and trailer gensets from Carrier, Thermo King and Cummins for reefers. Rental, repair, scheduled maintenance. The fallback when the grid is down or the cargo travels off-grid.

Guarded yard in Odesa with 380 V hook-ups. Includes temperature monitoring, weekly start-up runs and technical supervision. Monthly billing.

How much does reefer container repair cost?+
Depends on the fault. Refrigerant top-up — from UAH 4,000. Sensor replacement — from UAH 2,500. Major compressor overhaul — from UAH 35,000. Control board replacement — UAH 12,000–28,000 depending on the model. Exact pricing is determined after diagnostics, with the quote agreed before work starts.
How fast does the crew arrive?+
Within Odesa and the region — from 4 hours on business days. Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv — 24–48 hours. Other Ukrainian cities — 48–72 hours. Emergency calls (sudden loss of cooling) are arranged separately — we aim to arrive the same day.
Do you tow the container to your shop?+
In 90% of cases we repair on site at the customer's location. For major compressor overhauls or complex refrigeration loop brazing, we transport to our Odesa station. Round-trip transport — from UAH 6,000 depending on distance.
What's the repair warranty?+
Compressor overhaul — 12 months. Control board and controller replacement — 6 months. Sensors, relays, brazing — 3 months. Warranty applies provided the unit is operated per the manufacturer's recommendations. All terms are documented in the work order.
Do you service reefers bought elsewhere?+
Yes, we service refrigeration units of any brand regardless of where they were purchased. Carrier, Thermo King, Daikin, StarCool — our core specialisation. Send us a nameplate photo and we'll confirm whether we take the job and what it will cost.
What documents do I get after the repair?+
A work order listing replaced parts and consumables used, delivery note and tax invoice (for VAT payers), and a warranty card. For corporate clients — a service contract with fixed maintenance pricing.
What is a PTI and when do I need one?+
PTI (Pre-Trip Inspection) is the mandatory pre-loading inspection of a reefer container before a voyage. We verify controller operation, system tightness, sensor accuracy and pressures, top up refrigerant and seal the unit with our security seal. Performed at the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, Pivdennyi or at our shop. Usually takes 4–8 hours per container.
Can I rent a diesel genset?+
Yes — we keep clip-on and trailer gensets from Carrier, Thermo King and Cummins for 20-foot and 40-foot reefers. Available for one-off transports, exhibitions, off-grid storage, planned and emergency blackouts. Delivery and connection are billed separately. Minimum rental — 24 hours.
Do you visit the port of Odesa and terminals?+
Yes, we work with the container terminals at Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi. Pass and equipment clearance are on us. For urgent PTI checks before sailing, we arrange a same-day visit.

Keypad and LCD display replacement on a Thermo King MP-3000 controller

The reefer arrived with a dead control panel: the membrane keypad contacts were burnt out and the LCD display had faded beyond legibility. We replaced the keypad membrane and the LCD module, then tested every mode — the unit holds its setpoint again and is fully controllable from the panel.

The reefer wasn't holding temperature because of a refrigerant leak. We located the leak on the coil with an electronic detector, replaced the condenser fan and the filter driers, evacuated the system and recharged it with R-452A. After a load test the unit was back on setpoint.

The unit wouldn't start — the low-pressure protection kept tripping because of low refrigerant. We replaced the low-pressure cutout switch (genuine Thermo King part 414473), recharged the system with R-452A and ran the unit under load to verify.
